The Ocean Group uses cleaning technologies that are deployed around the world as we conduct the largest cleanup in history. For over ten years, The Ocean Cleanup has been researching, extracting, and monitoring plastic pollution in oceans and rivers globally – with tens of millions of kilograms removed to date. Trillions of pieces of plastic pollute our oceans today, and the problem is worsening. This plastic has a devastating impact on marine wildlife and ecosystems. Plastics can persist for many decades, continuously degrading into microplastics. These can be ingested by wildlife and later enter the human food chain. Plastic pollution is a global crisis requiring urgent action. The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing and scaling solutions to rid the oceans of plastic. To achieve this objective, we clean legacy pollution from the garbage patches as well as from coastal ecosystems, stop plastic flows from rivers or waterways, and advocate for stronger international plastic regulations.

The Ocean Cleanup is cleaning the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, an accumulation zone with over 100,000,000 kilograms of floating plastic. At the same time, we advocated for a Global Plastics Treaty to prevent ocean plastic pollution. To clean the oceans, we tackle the 1000 rivers around the world, which contribute to 80% of riverine pollution. We aim to close the tap on polluting waterways through our interceptors as well as cleaning up legacy plastic on coasts.

WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) is an independent global conservation organization, formed in 1961 and committed to building a future where people and nature thrive.

Our mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature by:

  • Conserving the world's biological diversity
  • Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
  • Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption

Active through local leadership in 100+ countries, we are a worldwide network with a shared mission and ambition for change. In every place we work, WWF strives to create and implement innovative solutions - scientific, technological, economic and financial.

We do this by collaborating with businesses, governments, Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and scientists, ensuring that priorities are shared and knowledge is integrated. Together, we can ensure conservation has a lasting impact.

Since 1954, Humane World for Animals have worked to create a more humane society for animals. Working side by side as the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International, we’ve helped to pass thousands of landmark laws, rescued hundreds of thousands of animals, and cared for and protected millions more.

As of 2025, to convey our mission and make sure that everyone understands who we are and the bold work that we do, our organizations are standing together under a new shared name: Humane World for Animals.

Our toughest fights work to address the systemic cruelties embedded in factory farming, animal research and other industries that impact millions of animals.

Thrill-seekers kill vital wildlife for trophies, display, photos, bragging rights and prizes, and pay big money to kill rare, often endangered, animals abroad and take home their body parts.

We are working globally to replace cruel, outdated animal testing with modern, animal-free research methods that are better for both people and animals.

Industrial farms cause animal suffering on an unimaginable scale. We work to improve animal welfare on farms, reducing extreme confinement, and to promote a more plant-forward global food system.

Every day around the world, millions of dogs and cats face neglect and cruelty. Humane World for Animals rescues animals, works to end puppy mills and expands access to veterinary care.

International Federation of Red Cross secretariat supports local Red Cross and Red Crescent action in more than 191 countries, bringing together more than 18 million volunteers for the good of humanity.

Every year, disasters and crises have devastating impacts on people, communities and entire societies around the world. The IFRC and our 191 National Societies respond to, and work to prevent or lessen the impacts of, all types of crises and disasters. We do so for all people, with a focus on supporting the most vulnerable. Our priorities are to save lives, reduce suffering and uphold human dignity.

The IFRC is there at the right time—investing before an event in disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation, and integrating this across all areas of our work.

We work to ensure that we are always in the right place—effectively using technology and innovation to anticipate risks and disasters, support proactive early action and provide predictive financing.

We work together to make sure we have the right capacity—efficiently coordinating across our regional and global networks to ensure we can respond to increasing humanitarian demands, and improving locally-led humanitarian action.

We help our members develop the right skills—building the capabilities needed to respond to increasingly complex humanitarian environments: digital, urban, protracted, and technological.

We insist on the right focus—placing affected people and communities at the centre of preparedness and response. We continually promote ethical and people-led approaches, such as cash programming, and support response models that are as localized as possible.
